About Shrutikirti Society

Shrutikirti Society (SKS) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to empowering women to lead and thrive in Madhya Pradesh, India. SKS focuses on promoting women's safety, strength, health, well-being, education, and skill development. Since its inception in 2014, SKS has been committed to empowering girls and women. Our women-centric initiatives align with the national "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" campaign, which underlines the importance of girls' safety and education. In response to the recent rise in crime, we recognise growing concerns about the safety of children, girls and women. We believe it is essential to promote self-reliance and self-confidence through self-defence workshops conducted in schools and colleges. These workshops focus on both physical and mental preparedness to enhance their safety.
